Dr Nilufer Rahmioglu is a senior research scientist at Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, University of Oxford. Her research on investigation of the genetic and environmental risk factors of endometriosis and related women’s health conditions with substantial public health burden. She has received her Ph.D in genetic epidemiology at St. Thomas’ Hospital, Kings College London in 2010. She has recently initiated Cyprus Women’s Healthy Research (COHERE) Initiative, which aims to establish an eastern Mediterranean women’s population cohort in Cyprus to investigate the regional health problems of women from this emerging region in Europe.
