World Simultaneous Breastfeeding 2014
With the slogan ” A victory for life “will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 , the event ” Simultaneous Breastfeeding 2014 “, organized for 8 the year running the Pancyprian Association of Breastfeeding “Gift of Life” and supports over time CHARALAMPIDIS KRISTIS in the context of practical social service program “PARTICIPATION”. The event is under the auspices of the Minister of Health. PATSALAS Philip and the National Breastfeeding Committee of Cyprus and is part of World Breastfeeding Week. It is an initiative with an international dimension, and similar events taking place simultaneously in 250 centers located in 9 different countries.
The event is part of the program “A BrEaST start in life: addressing social inequalities supporting breastfeeding through inclusion activities”, which receives a grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through grants of the European Economic Area (EEA Grants) and Cyprus
Registration for participation in the event will begin at 10: 00p.m. while Simultaneous Breastfeeding will be held at 11: 00p.m. The venues for the event are as follows

The theme of this year’s event, as defined by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action in WABA (World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action), centered on the full support of society for nursing mothers to achieve the continuing breastfeeding which is Gift of Life.
The CHARALAMPIDIS KRISTIS as a socially responsible company, confirms its support for the man, saying this from the first moment of his life. Through the social responsibility program “PARTICIPATION” The CHARALAMPIDIS KRISTIS chose to be a sponsor of temporal events Simultaneous Breastfeeding, significantly enhancing the effort of the Association “Gift of Life”, for information and support for all new mothers who choose to donate to children the priceless gift of breastfeeding.

The Cyprus Association of Breastfeeding “Gift of Life” is the evolution of “Nicosia Breastfeeding support groups’. The Association was founded in 2009 by pediatricians, parents and other advocates of breastfeeding in order to protect, promote and support breastfeeding. The Association carries out monthly meetings to inform pregnant women and new parents about breastfeeding and strengthens the support network for them to be able to offer their children the “Gift of Life” called breastfeeding. The Association also maintains a hotline to support mothers who want to breastfeed or breastfeed.
