Tanny is a midwife and graduated from City University (London) with a Bachelor in Midwifery in 2010. She trained as a student midwife at the University College London Hospital (UCLH) and was registered with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council. Tanny teaches antenatal classes covering pregnancy care, labour and birth, postnatal care for mother and newborn, and breastfeeding. She also offers private support and advice services to mothers for breastfeeding and care of newborn babies. Tanny is dedicated and committed about educating and supporting women in their journey in becoming mothers. She is a volunteer member of Birth Forward organization and coordinate the birth experience support groups.

Prior to being a midwife, Tanny was a qualified pharmacist and graduated from the School of Pharmacy, University of London in 1993. She also obtained a Diploma in Business Studies from the London School of Economics (LSE) and worked as a hospital and community pharmacist in London. She is a mother of two and currently lives and works in Limassol, Cyprus.
